The course Aims and Objectives are to:
- Increase Understanding of Risk, Likelihood of Reoffending, Static and Dynamic Risk factors, Actuarial and Clinical Risk Assessments
- Develop Knowledge of the 4 Pillars of Risk Management: Supervision, Monitoring and Control, Interventions and Treatment, Victim Safety
- Increase Knowledge of key Risk Management Forums for Sex Offending such as MAPPA, MARAC and MATAC
- Develop Knowledge of Risk Assessments for Sex Offending including Risk Matrix 2000 and ARMS (Active Risk Management System)
- Increase Awareness of Online Sex Offending and exploration of Factors to such as Mental Health
